FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Meet the 2015 MSTA Leadership Class (Columbia, MO) – Each year the Missouri State Teachers Association recognizes leaders from throughout the state who give their time to help improve education and our association. This year, we officially recognize 28 individuals in the 2015 MSTA Leadership Class. These 28 leaders have worked to improve MSTA as the local, regional and state level. They recruited, and welcomed hundreds of new teachers to MSTA. As volunteer leaders, they have served in numerous officer positions. “MSTA is a volunteer driven organization and we are stronger because of the outstanding members like those in this year’s leadership class,” MSTA Executive Director Bruce Moe said. “I’ve been impressed by the energy and dedication of our leaders who give their time and talent to serve their colleagues. These 28 educators have exemplified MSTA’s mission to ‘advocate for and empower Missouri teachers so they can teach.’ Whether in their local school district or at the state level, their voluntary service has helped to make Missouri schools better.” |
