PSC MODIFIES HEARING SCHEDULE IN
CENTRAL RIVERS WASTEWATER UTILITY RATE CASE
JEFFERSON CITY—The Missouri Public Service Commission has modified the hearing schedule in a sewer rate case filed by Central Rivers Wastewater Utility, Inc. Hearings, originally scheduled for December 15-16, 2014, will now be held December 29-30, 2014. These hearings will be held in Room 310 of the Governor Office Building, 200 Madison Street, Jefferson City.
The Governor Office Building meets the accessibility standards required by the Americans with Disabilities Act. If additional accommodations are needed to participate in the hearings, please call the Public Service Commission’s Hotline at 1-800-392-4211 (voice) or Relay Missouri at 711 prior to the hearings.
Central Rivers Wastewater Utility, Inc. filed a sewer rate case with the Missouri Public Service Commission on March 11, 2014, seeking to increase annual sewer operating revenues by approximately $91,789. The PSC Staff’s position filed in direct testimony would result in no change to current rates. Residential customers currently pay $32.00 a month for sewer service.
Central Rivers Wastewater Utility, Inc. provides sewer service to approximately 241 customers in seven service areas in Clinton, Clay and Ray counties. Those service areas are: Berkshire Glen, Fox Run, Private Gardens and Bar-B Acres/Park Estates in Kearney, Missouri; Wilmar in Liberty, Missouri; Country Hill Estates in Cameron, Missouri; and Countryside Meadows in Richmond, Missouri.
