PSC sets intervention deadline in KCP&L case

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Kansas City Power & Light Company (KCP&L) has filed an application with the Missouri Public Service Commission seeking Commission approval of certain demand-side (energy efficiency) programs and Demand-Side Investment Mechanism (DSIM) under its second Missouri Energy Efficiency Investment Act (MEEIA) filing. According to the application, KCP&L’s 2014 MEEIA filing was approved effective June 15, 2014 and will conclude by the end of 2015.

Applications to intervene and participate in this case must be filed no later than September 14, 2015, with the Secretary of the Missouri Public Service Commission, P.O. Box 360, Jefferson City, Missouri 65102, or by using the Commission’s Electronic Filing and Information System (EFIS) at www.psc.mo.gov .

KCP&L serves approximately 270,000 electric customers in the Missouri counties of Carroll, Cass, Chariton, Clay, Howard, Jackson, Johnson, Lafayette, Livingston, Pettis, Platte, Randolph and Saline counties.
