State Senator Mike Parson Calls on Attorney General Chris Koster to Investigate Planned Parenthood in Missouri
(BOLIVAR, MO) – In response to a video in which one of Planned Parenthood’s senior executives discusses the gruesome procedures used to harvest organ tissues from dead babies and the costs paid by medical researchers to obtain these tissues, State Senator Mike Parson will call on Attorney General Chris Koster to investigate Planned Parenthood’s Missouri operations to ensure laws are not being violated.
“The video showing Dr. Deborah Nucatola discussing the costs associated with tissues acquired from aborted babies and the barbaric procedures used to obtain these tissues is absolutely sickening. Whether these costs are classified as a reimbursement or a sale doesn’t change the fact that money is being paid for body parts harvested from aborted babies, and that is unethical,” said Senator Parson.
“I urge Attorney General Koster to investigate Planned Parenthood to ensure that this is not happening in Missouri and will never happen in our state. The residents of our state deserve to know whether or not the Planned Parenthood facilities in our state have been involved in the shameful activities discussed in the video.” |
