Teaming up with former Kansas City-based start-up, StartTalking, the foundation is launching a tele-counseling program at the Van-Far school district in Audrain County.
One bill would give the attorney general greater authority to investigate cases of sex trafficking and abuse. The other allows for civil action against non-perpetrators.
The initiative will assist family members of fallen officers, contribute to scholarship funds for police officers’ children, and directly support law enforcement officials.
