Children’s Trust Fund Board receives ‘excellent’ rating from audit

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — Missouri State Auditor Nicole Galloway Wednesday released an audit of the Children’s Trust Fund Board. The audit did not identify any significant deficiencies in internal controls, any significant noncompliance with legal provisions, or any significant deficiencies in management practices and procedures. The report gave the Board a rating of excellent.

The Children’s Trust Fund Board was established to provide public awareness of child abuse and neglect and to provide prevention programs throughout the state. The Board was last audited in 2015 and received a rating of good.
