Missouri Historical Society presents 2019 Thomas Jefferson Society Award to Honorable P. Wayne Goode

The Thirty-Seventh Annual Thomas Jefferson Society Dinner took place at the Missouri History Museum on Nov. 7, 2019

ST. LOUIS, Mo. — The Missouri Historical Society, which operates the Missouri History Museum in Forest Park, the Missouri Historical Society Library & Research Center located on S. Skinker Blvd., and Soldiers Memorial Military Museum located in downtown St. Louis, presented the Honorable P. Wayne Goode with the 2019 Thomas Jefferson Society Award at the Thirty-Seventh Annual Thomas Jefferson Society Dinner on Thursday, Nov. 7, 2019. The nearly 150 guests in attendance at this year’s dinner held in the Missouri History Museum’s MacDermott Grand Hall enjoyed a delicious meal catered by Bulter’s Pantry and live music from Anderson Trio. 

Since 1985, the Thomas Jefferson Society has presented its highest award to individuals and organizations that have played a crucial role in the betterment of our community. The Honorable P. Wayne Goode — an esteemed state legislator, businessman, and civic leader — is this year’s recipient of the prestigious award for his dedicated service to the people of Missouri for more than 50 years.
