Jefferson City, MO – Statewide Poll: Missourians’ Views on Same-sex Marriage
Missouri Alliance for Freedom commissioned Remington Research, a Kansas City based polling company to survey likely 2016 general election voters on their opinions of issues related to same-sex marriage following last week’s Supreme Court’s decision.
“From these numbers it is clear that Missourian’s minds have not dramatically changed since they overwhelmingly approved an amendment defining marriage between a man and a woman.
“For us this is a liberty issue. Will small business people and clergy be targeted by activists using the courts to compel them to violate their consciences? Freedom of speech and religion are essential and must be protected.”
Missouri Alliance for Freedom is committed to protecting and growing individual, religious, and economic liberty throughout Missouri by holding accountable members of the state legislature and by educating Missourians on voting records.
